Get Back Get Back gains his first success over hurdles at Uttoxeter

 In Uncategorized

A change of tactics paid off as Get Back Get Back gained his first success over jumps in a competitive handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter on Thursday.

Sean Bowen felt he made his move a bit too early when he was third on him a week ago at the same course on his second start after a wind op.

Get Back Get Back travelled better this time and his jumping was notably more fluent as he could be spotted moving easily just behind the leaders.

Sean patiently waited until the final flight before making his move and his mount quickened smartly on the way to an impressive victory by one and three quarter lengths from the tough John Constable.

It was good to see Get Back Get Back make amends though he still idled a little bit in front on only his fifth start over hurdles. He loves the prevailing ground and looks progressive so It makes sense to keep him on the go for the time being.

He was our second winner from our new yard at Higher Crockermoor in West Dorset which is only twenty minutes from our previous base at Seaborough.

The horses seem to love their new surroundings and are full of themselves when they go out in the mornings.
It feels like an exciting new start and we couldn’t be happier with how things are going.
