LADY ADARE MAKES IT FOUR FROM FOUR OVER HURDLES
Lady Adare stretched her unbeaten sequence to four with a thoroughly pleasing success in a Mares Novice Hurdle at Taunton on Tuesday 22 February ridden by Jonathan Burke.
Once again she was keen to get on with things but she was always in control once she led three out and made light of a double penalty as she stretched clear to win by sixteen lengths from the second favourite Peerless Beauty.
She has progressed impressively over hurdles since she was bought by the Dare and Dolan-Abrahams Families after winning a bumper on her racecourse debut for Micky Hammond at Newcastle last March.
It is time to raise our sights with Lady Adare who was very professional and took the step up in trip at Taunton in her stride. She is now qualified for the EBF Mares’ Final at Newbury on April 2 and that is most likely where she goes although she does have an entry at Cheltenham. We are looking forward to it.
