Revels Hill gained a welcome his first success over fences at Taunton on Tuesday 8 February in the colours of the Noel Fehily Racing Club.

Noel was on hand to cheer him on with an enthusiastic band of owners in a £16,000 handicap over just shy of three miles.

He also had an entry in a novice handicap at a Kempton on Friday but we felt that Taunton looked the best option and it worked out as we hoped.

Revels Hill has been knocking on the door all season and made amends for unseating his jockey with a bad blunder last time at Southwell with a fluent success by four and a half lengths from the top weight Slate House.
He was given a fine, patient ride by Kevin Brogan who got him into a fluent rhythm before delivering him with a well timed challenge going to the final fence.

We have always liked Revels Hill who should continue to progress over fences as he gains experience.
