SEPTEMBER BLOG

The unpredictable British weather has provided perfect conditions for many of our winter horses to embark on their first racecourse outings this season, albeit a little earlier than anticipated!

This Friday, we’ll be taking a couple of horses to Salisbury. This outing will give our younger horses a chance to gallop in a simulated racing environment while serving as an important pipe-opener for their seasonal debuts in the weeks ahead.

All our horses have been benefiting from extensive practice in the school with the support of Lorcan Murtagh, Megan Bevan, and Bryan Carver. This crucial exposure plays a vital role in refining their jumping techniques and helps us learn more about the younger horses and those set to switch codes.

The yard has been bustling with activity, with owners visiting to see their horses as the season gears up. You may have also noticed various pre-season interviews and features showcasing some of our horses in the Racing Post, Racing TV, Weatherby’s Jumpers To Follow, and Timeform’s Horses To Follow.

We are excited to host our first Prospective Owners’ Day on Saturday, 5 October. Final spaces are available, and since we have limited capacity, please be sure to register your interest by emailing lucy@harryfryracing.com. Once you’ve registered, we will share the timings with you.
