MIGHT I BACK IN THE WINNES ENCLOSURE
Might I bounced back to form with a narrow success in a Class 2 handicap hurdle over just shy of two and a half miles at Bangor on Wednesday 13 November in the colours of Brian and Sandy Lambert.
He has a great record fresh, relished the soft ground and came with a steady run from off the pace to land the first prize of £13,000 in a tight finish with Aston Martini.
While a mistake by the runner up at the final flight helped our cause Bryan Carver always felt Might I was going to win.
He’s a horse who has been a bit frustrating on occasions, but he was down in grade on Wednesday, enjoyed passing rivals and shaped as though a step up in trip would not be a problem.
It was lovely to see Might I get his head in front again and we will see how he comes out of the race before looking at a few options over a trip in excess of two and a half miles over Christmas.
