IDAHO SUN SHINES AT BERKSHIRE WINTER MILLION

 In Uncategorized
Idaho Sun completed a superb weekend for the yard with a stylish success in the valuable Class 2 bumper at Windsor on Sunday 19 January, the final day of the Berkshire Winter Million.
His victory came hot on the heels of Gidleigh Park winning at the same track on Friday before Altobelli provided the middle leg of our treble at Ascot on Saturday.
Bryan Carver is riding with great confidence and completed his own three-timer over the weekend on Idaho Sun who learned plenty when he won on his debut at Newton Abbot.
He is the first horse owned by Jeremy Gear, who lives locally. He has always wanted to own a racehorse and took the plunge when he sold his business in Yeovil. He contacted us after reading our newsletter and can’t quite believe his luck to come up with such a smart prospect at the first attempt.
The form of Idaho Sun’s first race has worked out well, and Jeremy has proved to be a really enthusiastic owner.
We will see how the horse comes out of his race before making any plans but it’s exciting to be thinking of possibly taking him to the bumper either at Cheltenham or Aintree.
