ANNO POWER AND MISS GOLDFIRE ROUND OFF A FANTASTIC TWO DAYS

 In Uncategorized
Anno Power completed a tremendous two days for the team at Cheltenham with another impressive success in the mares’ open bumper on Thursday 18 April, this time in the colours of Pat and Edward Dolan-Abrahams.
It followed our double at the same track twenty fours earlier with In Excelsis Deo and Hymac.
It’s great to have our horses in top form, and hopefully, they can carry that momentum forward into the new season in a couple of weeks.
Anno Power has a serious engine and has always been keen to get on with things. She looked really good last time in victory at Ascot wearing a hood and again excelled as she came with an irresistible run to seal the success in a competitive event on Thursday under a penalty.
Johnny Burke felt that he got to the front earlier than ideal but she is still learning how to race and is gaining valuable experience before she goes over hurdles next autumn. She jumps for fun and is a lovely prospect for the future.
In the same race, we were delighted with the run of Miss Goldfire who was making her debut for the Harry Fry Racing Syndicate. After a year off the track, she ran a wonderful race, finishing a close-up sixth after being bumped inside the final furlong. She will give her new owners some fantastic fun over the summer months when going over hurdles.
