SOUL LIMBO GAINS PLEASING FIRST SUCESS

 In Uncategorized
Soul Limbo gained a pleasing first victory with a fluent success in a two-mile novice hurdle at Uttoxeter on Friday 25 July in the colours of the Twelfth Man Partnership.
Having shown promise on his second bumper at Taunton, he fell on his debut over hurdles at Worcester in May, then found the ground too soft when he was disappointing at the same track in June.
With Bryan Carver on the sidelines after surgery earlier in the week to remove a screw from his knee Rex Dingle took over in the saddle and kept things simple on Soul Limbo, who travelled strongly throughout, was always prominent, led three out and won with something to spare.
His jumping improved through the race, and I’d like to think he will have gained plenty of benefit from the experience.
Rex Dingle has a 50% strike record for us this season with three winners from six rides.
We will look to bring Soul Limbo out again under a penalty in a month’s time, and I wouldn’t rule out giving him a run on the flat as he likes the prevailing ground and his pedigree is more flat than jumping on his dam’s side.
