STAR WALKING MAKES A PLEASING FIRST SUCCESS

 In Uncategorized
Star Walking did well to overcome trouble in running on her way to a pleasing success on her first start for us in a mares’ maiden bumper at Fakenham on Monday 1 April.
Things got tight for a few seconds half a mile from home, but champion jockey Brian Hughes held his nerve before producing Star Walking with a late run that won the day by three-quarters of a length.
It was good to have another winner for the Noel Fehily Racing syndicate so soon after the retirement of their outstanding mare Love Envoi.
Star Walking joined us early this year after winning a Point-to-Point in Ireland on her racecourse debut. She showed a nice attitude at Fakenham, dug deep after being hampered and kept on strongly at the finish. She is unlikely to run again this season, and we look forward to campaigning for her over hurdles next winter.
