CAREER BEST PERFORMANCE FROM LOVE ENVOI AT CHELTENHAM

A career best performance by Love Envoi wasn’t quite enough to land the Grade 1 Mares’ Hurdle on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival. Emotion overflowed after Honeysuckle just outpointed Love Envoi in a pulsating finish. The pair had the race to themselves from start to finish and our mare was still in front at the final hurdle before she was just outpointed on the climb to the winning post.

We could not be prouder of the way our mare pushed Honeysuckle to the limit in her farewell race. Both mares ran their hearts out.

Some stories are written in the stars and that was this story. Cheltenham is a special place and we have been involved in a special horse race. Love Envoi went down all guns blazing having been given a fine ride from the front by Jonathan Burke. She kept galloping all the way to the line & you just have to tip your hat to the winner.
