FORTUNES MELODY GETS HER TURN OF FORTUNE

 In Uncategorized

Fortunes Melody ended a frustrating run of near misses with a comfortable success on her return to hurdles over two miles at Uttoxeter on Tuesday 13 September.

She was given a fine ride by our new conditional jockey Ben Bromley who was gaining his first victory on his debut as a professional.Ben’s father Anthony and grandfather Bill were both present at Uttoxeter to cheer him on in the colours of Simon Munir and Isaac Souede.

Fortunes Melody kept finding one too good in several races over fences last season. Back over hurdles on Tuesday off a mark of 119 she was always prominent before easing into the lead at the final flight and pulling clear to beat Lady Reset by one and a half lengths.

It was good to see Fortunes Melody finally get her head in front for us and we will be giving more opportunities to Ben who gained valuable experience riding in point-to- points before turning professional.
