WILL VICTORY CLAIMS SECOND SUCESS THIS SEASON

 In Uncategorized

Will Victory doubled her score for the season with a determined victory in testing ground at Plumpton on Tuesday 20 December. It was good to be racing again after freezing conditions put an end to any jumps racing in this country for ten days.

Thanks to the hard work of our team at home we were able use our all weather gallop ever day despite temperatures as low as minus eight degrees on a couple of nights.

Will Victory had won nicely on her second start for us at Sedgefield at the start of this month and we picked out this next race for her as it was a nice prize for the grade and came at the right time.
Although she was raised 9lbs after Sedgefield she looked to be travelling the best in the hands of Lorcan Murtagh from a fair way out at Plumpton where all the hurdles in the home straight were dolled off because of the low sun.

That didn’t help Will Victory’s cause but she was ahead at the final flight and kept on willingly on the unusually long run in to see off the persistent challenge of Midnight Mary by two lengths to land the £10,510 first prize. I’m delighted that she has turned a corner and has her confidence back again.
